About MeDr. Tiffany Rhodes is an Asst. Professor at Johnson and Wales University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and then moved to Kenya, Africa to study abroad as a research biologist to learn about elephant and rhinoceros populations.
Upon her return to the states, Dr. Rhodes moved to Portland, Oregon to pursue a Masters of Arts degree in Cross-Cultural Studies. She worked as an educator for an outdoor education program, as well as an adventure guide throughout the continental US. She has also completed a Doctoral degree in Cross-Cultural Studies with an emphasis in war, peace, and reconciliation and has done humanitarian work in war-torn areas including Sudan, Rwanda, Uganda, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, and Nicaragua. She has travelled to over 50 different nations and all of the continental states. Dr. Rhodes is a professional member of the International Ecotourism Society and certified by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council and American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (CHE).
